Why: to load the Site, keep it secure, remember your cart and login, and understand how the Site is used.

Order and account information
Why: to take payment, fulfil your order, send confirmations and delivery updates, handle returns, and provide customer service.
Source: you, when you checkout or create an account.
Examples: name, billing address, shipping address, email, phone number, order contents, and payment confirmation. We do not store full card numbers — those are handled by our payment providers.
Customer support
Why: to answer questions and help with orders.
Source: you, when you email, call, or use the contact form.
Examples: name, email, phone, order details, and anything you choose to send us. Messages submitted through the contact form are processed by HubSpot on our behalf.
Marketing
If you subscribe, we use your email (and any preferences you give us) to send Professor Herb news and offers. Marketing emails are sent through Omnisend, who process that data for us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
If you also opt in to SMS, we may send service or marketing texts to the number you provided. You can opt out by following the instructions in the message (for example replying STOP) or by contacting us.
Age confirmation
The Site is 18+ only. We store your confirmation that you are 18 or over so we can meet that requirement.
How we use your information
- To sell and deliver products, take payment, and manage your account (contract).
- To send order, dispatch and returns emails (contract).
- To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
- To send marketing emails via Omnisend where you have opted in, or as otherwise allowed by UK PECR (consent / legitimate interests).
- To improve the Site with analytics (Google), where cookies allow (consent or legitimate interests).

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it for us, and only as needed to run the shop:
- WordPress / WooCommerce — the platform the shop runs on.
- Our UK hosting provider — to store the Site and its database.
- Pixxles — to take card payments and run fraud checks. See Pixxles’ privacy policy.
- Omnisend — to send marketing emails (and other messages you have opted into). See Omnisend’s privacy policy.
- HubSpot — to receive and manage contact-form messages.
- Google — analytics via Google Site Kit, where cookies allow.
- Couriers (for example DPD, Royal Mail, Evri) — to deliver orders.
- Professional advisers and public authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
The Site is operated from the United Kingdom. Some providers (including Omnisend, HubSpot and Google) may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as an adequacy decision or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it
Order and accounting records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and returns — typically at least six years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your query and any follow-up. You can ask us to erase information we do not still need to keep.
Your rights
